Research Assistant
Seeking a highly motivated research assistant for a lab working on understanding the lung pathogenesis associated with HIV. Job duties include catheterization and hemodynamic measurements on rats, intramuscular, intra-peritoneal injections, harvesting of tissues, breeding and handling of rodents. B.S. or B.A. degree with a major in biological sciences is required. Candidate with past experience in animal handling and animal surgeries will be preferred. Additional research experience in cell-culture techniques, RNA/protein analysis (PCR, western blot, immuno-histochemistry), will be a plus.
