This position is a halftime Visiting Assistant Professor of the Practice of Law appointment, which will function as a Fellow of Inclusive Excellence within our Lawyering Process Program, which allows for learning the art of teaching legal skills in a top ranked legal writing program. The duration of the appointment is one year, with possibility for a renewal for a second year depending on funding availability and performance in the position. The Visiting Assistant Professor and Fellow of Inclusive Excellence will have the opportunity to develop scholarly interests and credentials, as well as to create course materials. The Visiting Assistant Professor has the option to continue practicing law part-time, but the appointment is ultimately designed to launch the candidate into the national law school teaching market.
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor or equivalent from an accredited law school.
At least two years of legal practice experience.
Interest in teaching.
Excellent legal research, analysis, reasoning, writing and communication skills.

斯特姆法学院（Sturm College of Law）在U.S. News 2010年全美最好法学院的排名中名列第77位。2003年，耗资高达6350万美元的该学院新教学楼落成，新的教学楼最大的特点就是拥有一个三层楼高的图书馆Westminster Law Library，该图书馆的藏书主要是法律方面的丛书，所以服务的对象也主要是来自法学院的学生。该学院最强的两个系是其环境法系和税法系，分别排全美第15位和第19位。
