Bioinformatics Faculty Positions
The California Institute of Technology is seeking outstanding candidates for tenure-track or tenured professorial faculty positions in the Division of Biology and Biological Engineering. Applications are invited in any area of bioinformatics research, broadly defined. We are interested in candidates who develop and employ informatics and computational approaches to understand complex biological systems, ranging widely from microbial systems to humans and from molecular level systems to whole organism physiology. Applicants at all professorial levels are encouraged to apply. For untenured positions, initial appointments are for four years, and are contingent upon completion of the Ph.D. degree. For tenured Professor positions, we seek candidates who have developed cutting edge research programs that are having exceptional impact.
