ASSISTANT PROFESSOR POSITION
The Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology invites applications for a probationary tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin on or around July 1, 2015. Applicants must have demonstrated expertise in experimental structural determination and characterization of biomacromolecules and their biological significance (e.g., by NMR spectroscopy, x-ray crystallography, optical spectroscopy, mass spectrometry). Preference will be given to applicants whose research interests have biomedical importance and complement those of current members of the Department.
Applicants must have a Ph.D., at least 3 years of post-doctoral experience, and a strong publication record. The successful applicant will be expected to develop a strong, externally-funded research program, to contribute to our undergraduate and graduate teaching programs, and engage in service activities.
