　　Assistant Professor, Aquatic Ecology in Riparian Ecosystems

　　The School of Natural Resources and the Environment (SNRE)at the University of Arizona seeks outstanding applicants for a tenure track position in aquatic ecology with emphasis on riparian ecosystems. Riparian ecosystems are critical to maintaining biodiversity in the southwestern United States and are being affected by multiple environmental stressors, including changes in climate and land use, catastrophic wildfires, species invasions, and people. The University of Arizona is the State’s land-grant institution and water and arid environments are among the foci of critical research initiatives in its strategic plan.

　　Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have a Ph.D. in a discipline related to natural resources or applied ecology, a record of peer-reviewed publications demonstrating high quality research, and evidence of interest and experience in classroom instruction.
