The Division of Biological sciences in the School of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) at the University of Washington Bothell (UWB) invites applications for one tenure-track position in cellular and molecular biology at the rank of assistant professor. The successful candidate will develop an active research program investigating cellular processes or molecular processes at the cellular level and will join our faculty on a full-time basis for a nine-monthacademic year appointment beginning September 16, 2015. All university faculty engage in teaching, research and service.
Required Qualifications
The candidate must have a doctorate (or foreign equivalent) in Biology or related field with an emphasis on Cellular and Molecular Biology. Postdoctoral research experience is required. The candidate must demonstrate a plan for establishing a funded research program that is focused on cellular processes or molecular processes at the cellular level, and that is amenable to undergraduate participation. Applicants with experience mentoring undergraduate students in research will be strongly considered.
