Open Level Faculty Position in Electronics and Photonics
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the College of Engineering at the University of California at Santa Barbara is seeking applications for faculty at all levels with a start date of Fall Quarter, 2015. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Materials, or Physics and be able to demonstrate the ability to develop a highly successful independent research program, and participate effectively in the teaching of Electrical Engineering curriculum at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Exceptional candidates with research areas in integrated electronics and photonics, as well as their use in communication, sensor or computing systems will be given serious consideration for this position. Prospective candidates who wish to pursue interdisciplinary research efforts are strongly encouraged to apply. Joint appointments with other departments may be possible.
